The position is for an Lead Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to work on new product development, as part of a multidisciplinary project team. The work will focus on the design of electronics. The successful candidate will be involved in every aspect of the design from concept through prototype testing, qualification and the implementation in manufacturing. As a Lead Electronics Hardware Design Engineer you will be responsible for:Designing electrical circuits for downhole environmentTesting prototype circuits and modify as required Working on theoretical activities that deals with the study/research and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Having an understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function Leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods Coordinating with relevant stakeholders to determine critical system requirements.Providing guidance / training to manufacturing techniciansReviewing and submit patents and technical papers Connecting the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business. Handling special projects, as assignedTo be successful in this role you will have: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university Minimum 5 years of experience in a design engineering positionExperience with printed circuit board designKnowledge of circuit design and testingPCB layout experienceAltium designer schematic entry.
