Join our Customer Pipeline Design Engineering Team!Be the primary technical point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Facilitating engineering processes as well as performing detailed pipeline systems design engineering and calculation. Comprehensive understanding of product design and interfaces is expected.Partner with the bestTo own the pipe system design and engage with customers on pre-contract requirements. Provide technical support throughout all stages of project tendering process from early concept to full tender proposal. A rounded engineering function, with significant requirement for excellent communication and task ownership to deliver for our customers.As a Pipeline Systems Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Using sound engineering practice to develop pipe systems design to customer specification.Providing technical support throughout all stages of project tendering process from early concept to full tender proposal.Demonstrating commercial awareness, possess an understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value, to apply winning strategies and display optimal results.Providing technical expertise and works closely with the commercial team. Owning the technical solution and inputs to risk mitigation.Performing engineering calculations, using software tools and design guidelines, to develop and verify design of pipe structure.Participating in, and contributes to, improvement of process and tools, including product development and cost-out.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will: Have a tertiary accredited background with the relevant experience in an Engineering/Technology discipline.Have oral and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate good leadership and interpersonal skills.Have a proactive attitude towards being a solutions seeker, owns tasks and promotes creative designs with a positive approach.Be a collaborative team player, contributes to close engineering group dynamics.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
