Overview / Responsibilities Massy Wood is seeking expressions of interest for experienced and knowledgeable Emergency Response & Permit to Work Advisor for a potential project to be based in Trinidad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years' experience in a Emergency Response & Permit to Work Advisor role and will be expected to support technical and operational consultation for a range of assets. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all JSA and PTW requests are handled properly. Ensure that the appropriate supervisors and involved in the process and that their approvals are secured. Post permits in the designated area and maintain the status boards updates. Ensure that any/all PTW work packs are completed properly before being presented. Ensure that all completed permits are properly closed. Notify the HSE Advisor for the facility and the Emergency Response Team of all High-Risk Activities before they are going to be performed. Maintain the PTW Database. Facilitate Task Risk Analysis as requested. Notify the Leads of any potential SIMOP's issues. Audit permit documentation in the office and permitted jobs in the field. This includes all pertinent permit to work documentation; signed JSA, current PTW forms and all other applicable documentation with regards to that permitted activity. Review the BBSM data for trending and address issues in the weekly safety meeting or during the morning meetings. Track and trend all BBSM data for project use as well as company use (historical data). Provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured patient at the facility. Determines the nature and extent of illness or injury and establishes priority for required emergency care. Maintain all patient medical records and update database Monitor any ongoing illness or injury with patient follow ups. Maintain sick bay, inventory of medications, supplies and equipment. Monitoring of ER equipment, certified for use and compliance with operating standards ('Fit for Purpose") Plan and coordinate ERP training, drills and exercises at the facility. Lead ER walkthroughs on facility to ensure that ERPs are accurate and compliance to standard. Complete the weekly HSSE status report and send to the HSSE Manager Assist or facilitate any and all incident/accident investigations under the direction of the HSSE Manager. Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health from a recognised university National Examination Board of Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Certificate/Diploma from a recognised Certified Safety Professional Board Emergency First Responder training from a recognised institution First Aid/ CPR/ AED certificate from a recognised institution Permit to Work training from a recognised institution A minimum of six (6) years' experience in a similar position Exposure at an operational location associated with Oil/Gas exploration, production and or processing, preferably in a line position Broad knowledge of HSSE regulations (TT laws, API, OSHA, NFPA, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14000) Knowledge of occupational health, LOTO, SIMOPS Knowledge of modern EMS principles, procedures, techniques, and equipment.
