Partner with the best
To drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.
As a Lead Sourcing Specialist - Supplier Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for:
 

Being responsible for both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development.
Being responsible for supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence.
Being responsible for Supplier Quality Engineering having various levels of differentiation which are related to level of technical understanding of engineering drawings and ability to manage vendors.
Advising Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in the own field.
Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
Being able to Contribute to project as a team member or leads small projects. Also, Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event

 
Fuel your passion, To be successful in this role you will:

 
 

Have bachelor's from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 yrs. of experience in Sourcing). Minimum of 3 additional yrs. of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
Have sound oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
Have ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
