Responsibilities Experience & Education REQUIRED Bachelor's Degree, in Accounting or Finance 5-7 years Accounting Experience Previous supervisory experience PREFFERED Master's degree in accounting or similar degree Big 4 Experience CPA or other professional designation Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge and application of US GAAP Technical and analytical proficiencies Attention to detail and commitment to delivery of quality/accurate work products Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues Well-developed interpersonal skills - ability to communicate professionally (oral/written) Customer service oriented Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Self-Motivated Strong understanding of debits and credits Ability to understand complex scenarios Excel, Word, SharePoint PREFFERED PowerBI, Advanced Excel JDE, Hyperion (HFM, Smartview, Essbase) Familiarity with multi-currency, international environment Familiarity with multiple ledger entities Qualifications JOB SCOPE Weatherford is one of the largest multinational oilfield service companies providing innovative solutions, technology and services to the oil and gas industry. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversight of monthly, quarterly, annual financial close process, including preparation and distribution of the close calendar and oversight of close tasks across the organization. Analysis of consolidated financials, including balance sheet and income statement flux. Review detailed account analytics to ensure reasonableness of reporting results. Prepare management reports and other ad-hoc reports. Review eliminations and other consolidating entries prepared by team. Mentor and guide direct reports to develop their skills and provide them with opportunities for growth. Establish relationships with Field contacts to promote the timely resolution of identified issues. Coordination with external auditors/internal auditors to ensure requests are completed timely. Collaborate with SEC reporting team to ensure efficient, accurate and timely results. Review processes and recommend improvements and efficiencies.
