**THIS ROLE IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS**Our Water Technologies Division is currently searching for a Continuous Improvement Technician at our Minnetonka, MN plant. The Minnetonka plant is easily accessible, clean and a climate-controlled facility! The Continuous Improvement Technician will develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives while promote Lean culture sitewide.Key AccountabilitiesAssist in the identification of Kaizen and continuous improvement opportunitiesDrive best practices in processes and implementation of continuous improvementUse troubleshooting skills to identify solutions to complex problemsOrganize, lead, and facilitate Kaizen events and strategic improvement projects; monitor and measure to ensure sustainment of resultsPerform hands-on execution of Lean transformation projectsCoach employees on use of Lean toolsSupport building and implementation of visual management systemsSupport business leaders in process improvements initiativesPromote company safety standards, policies & proceduresPromote Lean thinking through training, and coaching at all levels of the organization (operators, supervisors, ops managers, and support functions).Execute projects to lead process efficiencies that improve the product quality, employee safety, site compliance and reduce the cost of goodsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Three years of experience with Continuous Improvement Methodology (Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma)Strong written, oral, communication, networking, and presentation skillsAbility to use MS Office and other tools for data presentation and analysisAbility to lead, motivate and influence others without authorityProject management experienceHands on project implementation and ownershipStrong problem solving, synthesizing, and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills characterized by effective interactions with a diverse range of internal and external constituents, stakeholders, and audiencesDesired:Lean Six Sigma Green BeltExperience driving culture change using change management methodologyWork flexible hours to accommodate training and implementation needs of all departments and shifts.
