Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders, which include Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers.
As a Data Platform Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
 
 

Working with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products
Owning the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases
Prioritizing continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
Demonstrating expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
Engaging frequently (80%) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
Owning and managing the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Routinely collaborate with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions
Conducting customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
Partnering with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process
Being regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Demonstrating excellent persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team
Demonstrating excellent product and industry knowledge and to help the organization gain a competitive edge
Mentor junior team members; provide technical leadership to TPMs across the organization

To be successful in this role you will:

 
 

Have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
Have excellent SaaS product knowledge
Have extensive knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
Have experience working in an Agile environment
Have the ability to demonstrate knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security
Be skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team.
Have the ability to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications.
Have well developed problem-solving skills
Have the ability to influence others
