You will perform scientific; research and technical efforts related to the design of new products and services for customer projects. You will support delivering projects through the stages of design, verification, manufacturing and, if necessary, commercialization.As our MDC Application Engineering Professional, you will be responsible for:Leading Cost-out and trade-off exercises using lean and continuous improvement strategies.Engaging with different engineering and manufacturing teams to reach best outputs for products in terms of cost and manufacturability.Promoting good communication across different stakeholders, manufacturing and engineering disciplines.Working collaborative with a global engineering communityCommunicating with team in both Portuguese and English language.Support the development of Project deliverables, such as but not limited to manufacturing drawings, 3D Models, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, etc.Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:High school diploma plus a valid technical certification; OR bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university (either fully completed or currently in the final year).Be fluent in written and spoken English or at least intermediary.Experience with Subsea Project/Product Engineer background. Emphasis required on pre-salt and deepwater Christmas Tree systems.Christmas Tree engineering background required for subsea equipment. Knowledge within Vertical and Horizontal Christmas Tree, Tubing Head Spool, Tubing Hanger, Christmas Tree Tooling sets (including Tubing hanger running tool) are desired for this role.A Manufacturing and Cost driven mindsetProactiveness and engagement to cover daily tasks.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
