You will apply technical and business knowledge to drive engineering process design and redesign, improving efficiency, traceability, and lifecycle integration.You will work across Product Engineering and Software Engineering teams to define, manage, and maintain system and process requirements, ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle. The role requires applying Systems Engineering practices including requirements definition, system architecture, integration, risk management, configuration control, and Engineering Change Management to enable controlled product and process evolution.You will collaborate closely with PLM platforms to support digital continuity, data governance, and alignment between engineering processes, product structures, and enterprise systems. At this level, you may act as a subject matter expert, mentoring peers and supporting both technical and business decision-making.The role may also involve engagement with suppliers and technology partners during requirements definition and proposal activities to ensure alignment with internal engineering and process standards.As Process Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:Capturing system level requirements by brainstorming with Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product ManagersIdentifying the scope of the work, provide initial estimate and justify the estimate with factsDemonstrating the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.Engaging in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through whiteboardingUnderstanding whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or moduleHelping in designing interfaces and information exchange between modulesPossessing advanced domain knowledge and show great customer focus. Expert in processes / methodologies and Skilled in build, release & deployment processesArticulating the need for scalability and understanding the importance of improving quality through testing.Being responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructureProviding guidance to a team of 5 to 7 developers with either planning and execution and/or design architecture using agile methodologies such as SCRUMWorking with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & visionTo be successful in this role you will:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline.Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), digital twin, and Industry 4.0 concepts.A minimum 4 years of professional experience.Fluent in English and experienced with international teams.Experience in oil & gas, energy, or complex industrial environments (preferred)Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignmentsExperience in building scalable and highly available distributed systemsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
