The Process Engineer is responsible for the design, optimization, and ongoing support of chemical and manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of plant systems.Responsible for continuous improvements using Lean & Six Sigma methodologies on the processes in the plant; responds to the issues and concerns to insure products are produced and delivered to the specifications, customer expectations insuring efficient use of resources in a safe environment at most economical cost. Plans, directs and engages executive leadership by keeping involving in quality improvement efforts with a view of the big picture, structuring Value Stream the business process, champion Kaizen events for improvements, and coordinates projects with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing and Services.   Implements and manages Six Sigma Lean initiatives Creates, monitors and implement key performance indicators and metrics Improves end-to-end processes and leads change management Incorporates improvements in the process and provides feedback to capture lessons learned Facilitates business process system inputs and enablers for best-in-class product delivery DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and optimize chemical processes, including reactors and material systems • Analyze process data to improve yield, throughput, and reliability • Support production operations and troubleshoot process issues • Assist in process scale-up and commissioning activities Project management experience and skill set  #LI-JA1   Bachelors in Manufacturing / Electrical / Mechanical or Industrial engineering 7-10 years of experience. Proficient in manufacturing processes to include electrical, mechanical and testing.  Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Excellent communication skills, verbally and written Fluent in English, PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Masters Degree in Engineering with MBA Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt BEHAVIORAL COMPENTENCIES Right mindset for change Interpersonal Skills Initiative / Perseverance Adaptability/Decisiveness Organizational Skills TECHNICAL COMPENTENCIES Designs and implements new processes or methodologies Identifies and implements processes to improve equipment reliability and maintainability Introduces and enforces Six Sigma concepts to enhance work processes and improve efficiencies Creates, implements and monitors key performance indicators and metrics Improves cost with design for manufacturability Interacts with manufacturing team, quality and engineering Implements and executes Six Sigma initiatives and projects that brings positive impact to the organization PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Walking or standing for long periods of time Bending or stooping Climbing stairs and/or ladders Lifting up to 50lbs Use of hand tools Operating a vehicle
