As a Senior Finance Manager - Commercial Finance, you will be at the center of driving commercial strategy, profitability, cash flow, and risk mitigation, partnering closely with Commercial leadership, Finance, and Operations.Partner with the BestThe Senior Finance Manager - Commercial Finance serves as a trusted advisor to the Commercial Leader and the CFO, helping shape business strategy through pricing, forecasting, analytics, and disciplined financial governance.This role requires a commercially minded finance leader who can challenge assumptions, influence senior stakeholders, and support scalable, sustainable growth.As a Senior Finance Manager - Commercial Finance, you will be responsible for:Driving Profitable GrowthActing as a trusted finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Business Unit leadersProviding financial insights to support go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and growth initiativesTranslating complex financial analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for executive leadershipCommercial Reporting, Planning & ForecastingLeading order reporting, forecasting, pipeline analysis, and long-range planning activitiesOwning top-line performance, margin analysis, and commercial reportingDeveloping scenario and sensitivity analyses to support investment and resource allocation decisionsDeal & Commercial StructuringPartnering with commercial teams to structure deals that maximize profitability, cash flow, and minimize riskAnalyzing customer financials, funding sources, and credit profilesCollaborating with Commercial, Treasury, and Operations teams to manage risk, including standby letters of credit and parent guaranteesNegotiating documentary letters of credit as requiredChannel Finance SupportProviding financial reporting and analytics to measure channel performance and drive growthEnsuring global channel compliance with Baker Hughes financial processesOwning and managing the channel commission payment processAccounts Receivable (AR) PerformanceDriving AR performance globally including cash collection, invoicing accuracy, and credit limit managementProviding detailed AR reporting and analyticsSupporting dispute resolution, customer escalations, and collection discussions with channel partners and customersCommercial Cost & Resource ManagementManaging global commercial resource load and evaluating performance metrics for optimizationReporting on commercial costs and resource utilization with actionable insightsProcess & Capability ImprovementEnhancing commercial finance processes, tools, and reporting capabilitiesSupporting systems initiatives including CFIN, ERP implementations, and integrationsEstablishing strong financial discipline and governance across commercial decision-makingLead & Develop TalentLeading the Commercial Finance team with clear priorities and balanced workloadsMentoring and developing finance team members to prepare them for future leadership rolesFuel Your PassionTo be successful in this role, you will have:Have Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldHave 10+ years of progressive finance experience with strong commercial finance exposureHave proven experience partnering closely with Sales and/or Marketing organizationsHave advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skillsHave strong ability to influence senior leaders and drive measurable business outcomesHave advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency; BI tools are a plusPreferred QualificationsHave MBA or CPA/CMA preferredExperience in B2B, SaaS, manufacturing, or complex commercial environmentsBackground in pricing strategy, deal desk, or revenue operationsGlobal or multi-business unit experienceKey CompetenciesStrong commercial and strategic acumenExecutive-level communication and stakeholder management skillsData-driven and outcome-focused mindsetAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsCollaborative leadership style with a strong bias for actionWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone, too.
