PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking an experienced Third-Party QA Shop Inspector to support inspection activities for ASME pump fabrication at a client facility in Chesapeake, VA.
Scope of Work


Perform third-party quality inspections during fabrication and assembly of ASME pumps


Verify compliance with ASME codes, project specifications, and quality plans


Review ITPs, drawings, and inspection documentation


Coordinate with shop personnel and client representatives to resolve quality issues


Required Qualifications


CWI certification (required)


Proven experience inspecting ASME pump equipment in a shop environment


Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and quality documentation


Ability to work independently with minimal oversight


This is a project-based opportunity with a February 2026 start. Duration to be confirmed based on client needs.
