As a key member of the HR Technology team, the Oracle Fusion Payroll IT Specialist is responsible for the functional ownership, configuration, and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion Payroll and Time & Labor modules. The role partners closely with HR, Payroll Operations, and IT to ensure seamless payroll execution, compliance with U.S. federal and state laws, and efficient system performance post-implementation.Serve as the functional owner and payroll SME for Oracle Fusion Payroll and Time & Labor.Configure and maintain payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, costing, and retro-processing.Ensure full compliance with U.S. payroll regulations (FLSA, federal/state taxes, garnishments, year-end reporting, etc.).Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to align system configuration with business needs and corporate policies.Support and troubleshoot fast formulas, payroll runs, costing issues, and integrations with finance or third-party systems.Develop and maintain custom OTBI and BIP reports for payroll validation, auditing, and management dashboards.Lead testing, validation, and regression efforts during quarterly updates, patches, and legislative changes.Document configurations, processes, and SOPs to support governance and audit requirements.Independently manage Oracle Support SRs, including creation, follow-up, root cause analysis, validation of Oracle-delivered fixes and implement best-practice solutions.Identify and deliver process improvement initiatives, automation, and analytics for payroll accuracy and efficiency.Provide end-user training and functional guidance to payroll and HR operations teams.#LI-TL1  Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field.8+ years of HR/IT systems experience, including 5+ years hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM experience with a strong focus on Payroll.Deep understanding of U.S. payroll legislation (multi-state tax, garnishments, W-2/W-4, ACA, year-end processing).Proven experience configuring and supporting Time & Labor and Payroll modules.Working knowledge of Core HR, Absence, and Benefits.Proficiency with OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, and BPM workflows.Solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, costing, integrations, and audit controls.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities across HR, Payroll, and IT teams.Preferred Qualifications Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll certification for US.Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or payroll integrations to Finance/ERP.Experience with full lifecycle Oracle Payroll implementations and post-go-live optimization.Hands-on experience with U.S. year-end processing (W-2, 1099, ACA) and compliance reporting. Behavioral RequirementsCustomer FocusAccountability & OwnershipTeam CollaborationAnalytical Problem-SolvingEffective CommunicationAdaptability Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Office environment.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit.
