Reporting directly to the Senior MPD Manager, the Project Manager oversees the development, implementation, evaluation, and commercialization of complex PL-related projects, focusing on new technology implementation, sustaining MPD control systems and automation, and global technical support.Front-end project definition, design/built/qualify, verification, validation, and commercialization the PL technology implementation (Technology Roadmap)Oversee sustaining engineering for MPD controls and automation systems, including software/hardware lifecycle management, firmware updates, field issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user experience.Responsible for all sustaining engineering and R&D projects for the PL globally, including support and enhancements for MPD control systems and automation platforms. Responsible for the technical support for all MPD matters globallyLeading implementation of task for different teams within the organizationProviding project and technical support for all issues related to the delivery of the tasks through the life cycle production development for the PL technologiesDeveloping cost improvement estimates and tracking of actualsMeeting project deadlines and ensuring project deliverables are deliveredMaintaining an informed perspective on our business opportunities and challenges Understanding our internal customers' needs (immediate and long term) and focusing on delivering innovative solutions to meet these needsDelivering the project scope safely while serving as a role model for processes and personal safety throughout duration of projectDefines and negotiates project team resources and gains commitments from all groups involvedConducts project review meetings, and presents monthly project progress presentations to stakeholdersIdentifies, analyzes and mitigates risk through RPN risk prioritization worksheets and action plansAny other tasks as determined by manager#LI-TL1 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional certification is preferred5+ years of experience in MPD systems design, and engineering2-3 years of experience in project managementProven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technical projectsStrong understanding of regulatory compliance and quality assurance practicesExcellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills Essential Skills/Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:Overall knowledge of the TRS & MPD product linesFamiliarity with training program development and technical documentation. Strong computer skills including MS Office suite, desktop publishing, and basic graphic designWork conditions may include travel to and from other Nabors facilitiesPossible after hour assignmentsMust be self-driven and self-motivatedExperience leading cross functional design teamMust possess leadership skillsMust possess ability to manage stakeholders demands and issues on Global scaleMust possess ability to manage projects and deadlinesWorking knowledge of MPD control systems, data acquisition, PLC/HMI programming, and automation platforms (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, or similar)Experience in supporting or managing lifecycle of control systems including software revision control, cybersecurity patches, and interface testingFamiliarity with system integration between rig equipment, MPD controls, and third-party systemsAbility to collaborate with automation, electrical, and field operations teams to troubleshoot and improve MPD control performanceUnderstanding of control system standards and functional safety
