Position Summary Purpose Ensures the control of the execution of the entire process of exporting goods, from their place of departure to their destination. Ensures the conformity of the processes with the Law and procedures of the Company . Duties & Responsibilities Functions Ensures that materials are moved in an effective and efficient manner, in accordance with Angolan Law, in accordance with the procedures of our customers and with the Company's Procedures; • Keeps informed about the current location of goods in transit, from their place of departure, consolidation points, ensuring that they arrive at their destination in the shortest possible time; • Identifies priorities in the loads and equipment to be transported, ensuring that materials and equipment make the fastest possible route, taking into account cost / benefit issues; • Make sure that the goods comply with all legal requirements and conditions for transport, preparing and making available to the relevant parties all the information necessary to ensure total security in transport; • Prepare all the necessary documentation, either of the containers and the necessary documentation for sending goods offshore, ensuring their dispatch; • Proceed to clear customs when necessary; • Informs about Purchase Orders issued, materials that must be transported and deadlines for the activity; • Keeps informed about the current status of the merchandise, informing the relevant parties about its status; • Keeps all relevant parties informed about changes to the law or to the Company's export procedures (Freight Forwarders, Dispatchers, Warehouse Department); Safety Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable to ensure a safe working environment. Other Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems. Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems on the Company. Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment. Supervisory Responsibilities • This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities. Reporting Relationship Logistics Supervisor. Qualifications Qualifications REQUIRED Literary abilities Literary qualifications at the level of bachelor or 12th class or professional course with official equivalence in: Logistics. Other (in a relevant area). Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • Knowledge of Oceaneering's business processes and the oil sector. •Knowledge of strategic acquisition and negotiation methods. • Knowledge of Logistics. • Control and monitoring of costs. • Understanding of relevant Angolan legislation. • Knowledge of contracts, tax and logistics. • Very good knowledge of the Purchasing area. • Knowledge of Stock Management. • Knowledge of Logistics Management software. • Ability to dispatch goods. Working Conditions • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace • PPE required. Physical Activity/Requirements Medium physical activity, all the necessary tools will be available to successful perform his daily activity.
