Partner with the best Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Pipe Completion), will focus on the development of processes and methodologies related to assembly, testing and packaging of end fittings and additional PC processes applied to Flexible Pipe Manufacturing. As a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - (Pipe Completion) you will be responsible for: Developing and implementing new technologies aimed at improving shop productivity, with a focus on assembly technology Conceiving design and supporting delivery of cutting-edge manufacturing process technologies, systems and methods for assembly & testing Contributing to a cross-functional team aimed at improving Manufacturing / Inspection processes and systems Guiding, training and providing technical counsel to new and experienced engineers, technicians and specialists in flexible pipe manufacturing Working in advance with commercial team on new bids to identify future manufacturing requirements and design to cost objectives Recommending, managing and implementing the necessary changes at FPS Offshore facilities to comply with new product requirements Advising personnel in the Design, Materials, and Manufacturing communities on the application of manufacturing and inspection processes and related quality systems Designing and perform experiments to optimize processes and methods and help evaluate manufacturing improvements Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a degree in Engineering, with experience working in a manufacturing environment Have expertise in statistics and industry production measurement standards Be able to demonstrate expertise in leading multi-disciplinary and global project teams to perform analytical and laboratory research work Be able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and partner with other organizations to generate ideas and execute research projects - remove barriers Have solid aptitude for developing and conducting statistically designed experiments in factory and laboratory conditions, knowledge of capability study (CP and CPK) Be able to listen effectively, create and communicate clearly and deliver on commitments Have working knowledge of Office software and the specific ability in the advanced use of Excel spread sheets Be willing to travel when required Advanced English Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
