Senior Operations Engineer Purpose of Role: To provide operations engineering support and assurance services to assets to ensure safe and cost-effective production, across Operations, Facilities, Integrity & HSE functions. Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and company HSEQ procedures. Co-ordination of the Operations team onshore and offshore, ensuring a safe and reliable operation to drive value to the business whilst protecting people, the environment, and the asset. Prioritise T-17 week plan to reduce SCE backlog and SCE rectifications. Provide operational input to project, supply chain, subsea, drilling activities. Committed to the highest standards of HSE, in particular process safety, working continuously for improvement both in own activities and in those of the assets, projects or other business activities in which involved. Areas of Responsibility Competence Level: Ensure Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all associated work Support the delivery of Asset annual safety, production, environmental and operational goals are met. Onshore preparation of workscopes in accordance with companies process and procedures. Co-ordinate tasks with the other team members within the asset team to ensure safety, production and maintenance requirements are conducted in the appropriate manner. Prioritise discipline specific scopes as per the company planning process. Understand losses experienced and develop plans to remediate/mitigate as appropriate. Develop relationships with onshore and offshore teams and field partners. Project support. Periodic visit offshore for familiarisation is desirable. Competent in operating electronic MMS. Competent in operating electronic PTW system. Be capable of standing in for Operations Superintendent. Critical Skills Qualifications Experience, etc.: Engineering Degree qualified or extensive offshore upstream experience in Mechanical, Process, Systems, Instrument or Electrical Extensive experience related to engineering degree, plus a broad understanding and experience base across all other operational and technical disciplines Demonstrable stakeholder management and interpersonal skills both internally and externally including ability to learn from, and influence, others Knowledge of HSEQ, production, maintenance Management, asset and operating integrity processes and procedures Working knowledge of knowledge of oil and gas practices and statutory requirements
