As a valued team member you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs. Be involved in long-term planning, contribute to the overall strategy, and manage complex issues within your areas of expertise.
Partner with the best
To drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. Select suppliers through qualification processes. Own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards. Own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
As a Sourcing Quality & Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Supporting to coordinate supplier development including assisting key suppliers towards QA.
• Supporting suppliers in reaching optimum quality and industrial standards of excellence.
• Contributing to develop regular redesign of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs.
• Elaborating process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.
• Having effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.
• Handling work requiring analysis and interpretation. Developing approaches for exceptions.
• Understanding business sourcing needs, identifying suppliers, quoting, negotiating a good commercial offering from suppliers that brings value to the business.
• Onboarding Suppliers, negotiating terms & Conditions, strategic sourcing agreements. Following through on overall supplier performance.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have Bachelors degree from accredited college or university in quality, materials, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in QMS, APQP, Materials Engineering and Special Processes.
• Able to fluently speak and write in English and Spanish.
• Have a certification in welding or ASNT is a plus.
• Experience in Development, Quality Assurance and Quality control of Precision machining parts and Fabrications. Electrical & Electronics is a plus.
