Job Description
 
CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Site Manager.  The Site Manager will be responsible for managing the wind turbines availability target respecting safety and quality requirements. They will also need to have experience in Troubleshooting/ Corrective maintenance in Wind Turbine and able to work in rotations mode as "cadre" :
 
Shift Pattern as follows:  5 days work 12h + 1 day off + 5 days work 12h + 1 day off + 2 days work 12h + 2 days work 7h +  10 days off + 2 days work 7h.
 
Location: Pays de la Loire, UK
Type of Contract: Freelance or CDD.  
 
Key duties will include:
 

Execute in safety and quality the unplanned and planned maintenance schedule of offshore wind turbines field.
Make sure operations are always executed in safety: lead by example, make sure the team is trained on last safety requirements, promote an open dialogue with operational teams to continuously improve work safety conditions.
Work in rotation rhythm and manage the operational team composed of Lead Technicians, Technicians and Site Deputy Manager.
Responsible of contractor's scope and activities. Make sure they are executing their contract as agreed in safety, quality, budget, and time.
Decide split of activities between contractors and employees.
Be the customer point of contact for the operations activities.
Responsible of creation and follow up of operational KPIs such as: safety, quality, planning execution, and budget.
Lead daily, weekly, monthly operational rhythm with team, customer, and contractors such as toolbox talks, planning review and pareto/actions plan, learning curve, etc.
Base on rhythm and KPIs output lead or coordinate the continuous improvement actions plan to reach targets. Give constructed feedbacks to internal supplier's departments.
Validate contractor invoices on day-to-day basis based on their results and contract agreed.
Your strong electrical, mechanical and maintenance background allow you to direct the team in the right direction to reach target on day-to-day basis, but also to continuously improve site

 
Requirements:
 

Relevant qualifications
Fluent in both written and spoken French & English
Relevant experience in the wind industry.
It is essential that the candidate has extensive pre and post contracts experience and extensive experience working for an operator.
Candidate should have experience of EPIC onshore and offshore construction
Experienced in multi-discipline interaction and co-ordination.
