The purpose of this role to ensure customer satisfaction with regards to deliverables and ensure smooth communication flow between Damco and the customer.


Key Responsibilities

• Query Resolution
• Coordinating customer documentation requirements
• DRS delivery monitoring and coordination
• Updating and monitoring Outstanding issue lists and minutes of meetings
• Claim coordination and follow up
• Sample shipments monitoring and coordination
• Status report monitoring
• Develop continuous improvement and optimisation of the Customer and Damco process flows
• Developing a sound relationship with Customer as an Inhouse coordinator
• Create opportunities through information gained at customer premises
• Creating visibility for customer as required
• Complete monthly and quarterly KPI visibility for the Customer
• Responsible for PO Tracking
• Follow up and Checking of shipment files and invoices to be handed over to Client within KPI deadline
• Ensure statement check and query resolution is conducted
• Process EDI of freight invoices
• Follow up on customs refunds with Customs House Brokerage Department



Who we are looking for

• Diploma/ Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain Management
• 3 years related experience (Clearing and Forwarding, SCM)
• Knowledge of Customs & excise and local authority requirements of imports,exports air and sea.
• Strong and current knowledge of technology platforms, incl MS Office and SAP
• Customer interaction
